The south of France is a well known destination for bands to escape the outside world, tap into that magic inside and produce something amazing. When the rolling stone left England and retreated to the Villa Nellcôte in the South of France to get inspired they hit the peak of their career and produced what is considered their greatest album, Exile on Main st .
At the Art Farm we known how hard it can be to find the time and a place to rehearse, get inspired and create new music. The Art Farm is dedicated to giving musicians this space they all dream of.

HOW TO ENTER - All you need to do is fill in the application form then SEND A PROMOTIONAL PACKAGE to The Art Farm.
We are looking for bands with that magic,a magic that spills from the stage and seeps
into the veins of audience causing waves of excitement and a vibe spiralling with energy
indefinable to the naked eye but oh so recognisable to the creative soul. A magic that will
that will explode into musical genius after one month of jamming at The Art Farm and
blow their minds in Europe.
Packages may include - songs, biographies, media articles,images, photographs, videos and links to websites. Packages must start with one song minimum to be eligable for entry. You can add to your package at anytime throughout the competition and keep us up to date with your band progress and send any new material our way to increase you chances of winning. Packages will not be accepted until we have recieved your application form and and entry fee payment of £25.

TERMS & CONDITIONS1. This competition is open to all bands and solo artist.2. The Art Farm band competition commences 01 September, 2009, andends on 31 March, 2010.3. Entrants must complete the application form, entry fee and send theirpackage by the 31 March 2010 in order for their entry to be valid. Multipleentries will be accepted. Strictly one entry per form.4. Entries are to be emailed toThe Art Farm(all formats will beaccepted).5. Songs, biographies, media articles, promotional images, photographs,videos and links to websites may be included in the emailed entry. One(1) song minimum for entries.6. Once the competition has closed a panel of The Art Farm judges willreview all valid entries received during the competition period and selectthe winners and runners up for the competition. The winner and runnersup will be announced online and notified by email. Their name/s andwork/s will be published on The Art Farm online newsletters, blogs, postsand a special feature on The Art Farm website.7. 1st prize for the competition consists of ONE (1) month musicianresidency at The Art Farm (France). Inclusions as listed above.The prizeis non-transferable and cannot be taken as cash.8. The information entrants provide will be used by The Art Farm for thepurpose of conducting this competition. Unless otherwise notified, TheArt Farm may use the entries and details of entrants for promotional andpublicity purposes. Entrants consent to their entries being used in allmedia by The Art Farm is confirmed upon entry.9.
